| Dear Senior PFers,
We have an exciting year ahead of us. I have been in contact with the
Fuller Center over the summer and we are planning to spend February
vacation there. I will share more details about the rip at our opening
picnic and we will continue to work on the specifics throughout the
coming months. I hope you are all as excited about this trip as I am. I
have had many adults approach me who are interested in chaperoning and I
think this is a wonderful opportunity for our community.
We are going to have an opening picnic on Saturday,
September 19th. It will be held at Carleen and Don Gerber's house
at 272 Hamburg Cove. Please bring with you a side dish to share. I will
provide grilling items and soft drinks. There is a pool and kayaks, so
bring a bathing suit with you. The picnic will start at 3:30 and end at
6. Please give me a call to let me know you will be coming so I can plan
accordingly.
Our next meeting will be on Sunday, October 4th
from 4- 5:30 and I will provide pizza and games. We will discuss our
upcoming meetings and make some decisions about the things we would like
to focus on for the year.
I hope you have had a relaxing summer and I look forward to seeing you
