[Full text is found in the Church By-Laws] Organization This Board is comprised of ten members, one of whom shall be a Deacon appointed annually by the Board of Deacons. A member of the clergy shall be appointed by the Senior Minister to serve on this Board. The same clergy representative shall also serve on the Board of Youth Education. After serving a term of three-years, members are ineligible for one year to be re-elected to the Board of Adult Education. The members are elected for a term of three years in such a manner that the term of three members shall terminate each year. The Board elects by simple majority vote a Chairperson from its members. Responsibilities It is the responsibility of the Board of Adult Education to visualize and implement adult education programs, and to support the ministers, Church boards, and individual members in conceiving, organizing, promoting, and conducting such activities. It is the responsibility of the Board to administer any funds set aside by the Church for the financial support of the Church members engaged in theological or other specific preparations for careers in the Church.
